Best Laptop for Quickbooks Buyer’s Guide
A lot of laptops in the list above can be configured with different specifications based on the prices. Also, different laptops have different specifications and price points. To understand which laptop suits you best, these factors of our Buyer’s guide will enable you to make a more informed decision.
Your budget and willingness to spend on a laptop matter the most in this decision. If you have no constraints on how much to spend, just buy an XPS 13 or a Macbook Pro 13 inch and you will be good to go for every possible usage for at least the next 4 years.
However, like most people, if you do have a budget in mind, you need to make a choice that makes a good compromise between price and performance. For Quickbooks use, RAM is crucial if you are working with multiple users. Also, a decent CPU will be good to have so do not skimp on these two factors. Once these are sorted, then decide on what additional functionality you need such as a touchscreen or a better-looking display, and make the final decision based on the availability of these preferred options.
Number of Users Using Quickbooks
If you are going to use your machine as the server computer, it is crucial to address the RAM concerns. Quickbooks clearly states requirements on their website with 8 GB for up to 5 members and 16 GB RAM for up to 15 users. Depending on your work structure, making this decision right is very important.
If the office work on Quickbooks is all that you intend to do on your laptop, getting a 15-inch laptop makes better sense as that offers you more screen real estate and a num pad for better working. However, if you want to use this laptop as a consumption machine for your home as well where you can use it in your off time for streaming services, you better look for a laptop that is portable and a pleasure to use in such situations.
The screenplays a very important role here too. It is your main point of interaction with the laptop and looking at a dull and ugly screen ruins the experience of not just media but work too. This is not totally dependent on the budget, however, many of the laptops on our list that offer decent displays at affordable prices. If you want the best on the market though, getting the retina display of the Macbooks would be an amazing choice.
Operating System of choice
Your preferred choice of operating system and your willingness to change to another one matters a lot too. If you are currently using an operating system, be it Windows or macOS, and don’t intend to switch, this choice is very simple. However, if you can cope with the change, we would highly suggest you do so if the operating system is the only thing stopping you from a purchase. The Macbooks are the only machines running macOS on our list and the remaining run Windows. Both operating systems are very user friendly and are used by millions of people worldwide. You just need to choose what suits you best.
These are some of the factors that you can keep in mind while making your decision. All the machines on the list are great laptops, however, every great laptop might not be the best for you. To make sure you get the one that suits you best, study these choices in detail and assess yourself based on them to make an informed decision.
